EXPIRED!! California State Railroad Museum - Building America For 150 Years! Come Celebrate!

This Saturday and Sunday, September 29th and 30th - The California State Railroad Museum, located in Old Town Sacramento, will be offering FREE entrance into the museum.  They are hosting : Building America For 150 Years!  Come check out our railroad history, some AWESOME locomotives, FREE train rides and lots of fun activities for the kids!
My son has a membership to this museum and LOVES going.  It's a blast being able to go in and out of these humongous trains, spend some time playing with the Thomas the Train sets on the upper floors and learning about our Union Pacific history in the mean time!
Again, it is THIS Saturday and Sunday, September 29th and 30th from 10am - 5pm.  Just knowing how free entrance days go I would plan on getting there on time or even earlier to hopefully avoid some of the rush!
While you're in Old Town, they are also offering FREE entrance into the California State History Museum.  I have not visited this museum before but plan to tomorrow while checking out the Railroad Museum.
In order to receive free entrance into the history museum - you must first register for your 2 free entrances and present your ticket to them on Saturday between the hours of 10am - 5pm.

Hope to see you there!
